The science and art of Mathematics is everywhere. It is the tool used to buy and sell, build bridges and airplanes, and even organize things. Math is about more than numbers and formulas, though. It is about patterns and relationships, too. In the Mathematics Demonstration, a NYSCI Explainer leads audience participants through a series of challenges and puzzles that test logic and sorting skills, all the while demonstrating mathematical theories like graphing and where they fit in everyday life.
