Science Council

The Science Council is a group of community, business and professional leaders and concerned friends with an interest in science education, career access for young people and opportunities for families and adults to engage with the science and technology issues of our day. The Council presents an annual lecture series that focuses on these topics, as well as on the influence of science on the arts and the role of science throughout history.

Members of the Science Council also serve as ambassadors for NYSCI, introducing the institution to new friends, donors and advocates and promoting the public understanding of science in various other ways.

To learn more about upcoming meetings, please contact Ramona Roque, Coordinator of Individual Giving and Membership, at 718-699-0005 ext. 338 or rroque@nysci.org.
