Sports Challenge

Grades: 4 – 9; Physics
Students explore the physical properties involved with athletic activity by engaging in table top experiments as well as interacting with a Virtual Visit Explainer and exhibits. Investigate how different surfaces change, how a ball bounces, the importance of muscle memory, and what kinds of balls travel fastest.
