India Museum Professionals Teach NYSCI Staff New Science Demo
Queens, N.Y. - From August 15 - 21, the New York Hall of Science welcomed executives from five different science centers in India, kicking off a new program for cultural exchange between science museums. During this first phase, the visiting participants were immersed in the culture of a New York City science museum learning live science demonstrations, discussing recruitment strategies, and experiencing the day-to-day operations of NYSCI. In September, staff from NYSCI will travel to Kolkuta, India to learn about science museums and technology there.
