Join Digit and Lunar Jim for V-me Niños Day

Queens, N.Y. – Meet astronaut cartoon character Lunar Jim and Cyberchase’s loveable cyber-bird Digit at the New York Hall of Science on Sunday, June 22, 2008 as part of V-me Niños Day. In addition to taking photographs with two of their favorite characters, children can enjoy activity tables, puppet shows, storytime and screenings of videos in English and Spanish. V-me Niños Day activities are free with general NYSCI admission and include:
Meet Digit and Lunar Jim! ~ 11 am, 11:30 am, 2 pm & 2:30 pm
Take a photo with costumed characters Digit and Lunar Jim. Digit photo opportunities are available at 11 am and 2 pm, and Lunar Jim photos at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.
Video Screenings ~ Spanish Screenings at 12:30 & 3 pm; English Screenings at 1 & 3:30 pm
Watch your favorite V-me episodes, including Franny’s Feet, a Lunar Jim show, and a Cyberchase episode.
Hands-on Activities ~ 11 am – 3:30 pm
Get a temporary tattoo, create your own character mask, and make a Cyberchase Bunny Copter to take home at these fun activity tables.
Maria’s Musical Fiesta Puppet Show ~ 1:30 pm
Maria’s having a party, but the band hasn’t shown up. Can you help her make some exciting music? (Ages 6 and younger)
V-me Niños Storytime ~ 1 pm
Gather around and hear stories told in both Spanish and English.
