Name the New York Hall of Science's First Birds

Queens, N.Y. - In honor of the New York Hall of Science’s first bird exhibit and in anticipation of the upcoming Charlie & Kiwi’s Evolutionary Adventure exhibition, the Hall announced “First Birds Naming Contest” for kids ages 17 and younger to name the two new colorful budgies.
The contest winner will receive a “Charlie & Kiwi’s Evolutionary Adventure Prize Package” including a Family Plus Membership to the Hall, two plush budgies, and an opportunity to meet and feed the birds.
Participants are invited to submit names for the pair of budgies online or by mail by May 11. In one paragraph, each contestant must submit two names and share their inspiration for the names. Entries may be mailed to: New York Hall of Science, Bird Naming Contest, 47-01 111th St., Queens, NY 11368.
Three finalist entries will be announced and available at www.nyscience.org for online voting beginning May 12. The finalists will all receive a plush kiwi and a New York Hall of Science t-shirt. Names for the budgies will be announced on May 23.
Please Note: Voting for the contest has been extended through May 20 and the winner will be announced on May 23.
