Science Playground Re-Opens After Refurbishment

Queens, N.Y. - The Science Playground looks more inviting than ever following refurbishing and repainting, plus the installation of a new 3-D Spider Web exhibit. This spring cleaning was completed just in time for the Science Playground's annual April opening.

A favorite of Hall visitors and the largest science playground in North America, the outdoor wonderland opens for the season on April 1. Climb the newly-replaced 3-D Spider Web, discover how water can power machines in the freshly painted water area, experiment with the refurbished Sun Catcher and Ball Run, and much more in this award-winning exhibition.

The Science Playground is presented by Con Edison.
