2-15-10

Casey CarleQueens, N.Y. – BubbleMania: Science, Art & Comedy! with Casey Carle returns to the New York Hall of Science from March 27 – April 4. World-renowned bubble-ologist Carle creates amazing bubble creations in his show, which will take place at 1, 2 and 3 pm each day. Additional performances will be held April 2 at 4 pm and April 4 at noon. First-come, first-served tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the show for $4, or $3 for members (plus NYSCI admission). Tickets may also be purchased in advance online at www.nysci.org.

Carle’s performance combines comedy and education in a unique exploration of the science of soap bubbles. Anyone who has ever experimented with bubbles at home will be impressed with his 6-foot spheres and dancing bubbles. Lucky audience members may even get to experience life inside a bubble.

Carle astounds audiences all over the world with his one-of-a-kind show. As one of the world’s best soap bubble manipulators, he has performed with the Ringling Brothers’ circus, served as a consultant for Cirque du Soleil, and earned many other accolades and awards.

After seeing Carle’s amazing examples of bubble-ology, visitors will have the chance to experiment on their own. Several of NYSCI’s most popular exhibits explore the science of bubbles, from how they form to why they pop. Visitors can push the limits of geometry in the Mathematica exhibit and learn about color and reflection in Seeing the Light, all with the help of bubbles.
