The Mamas Network and New York Hall of Science Present Second Annual Mamas Expo

As Queens becomes one of the fastest growing hotspots for New York City families, The Mamas Network proudly presents the 2012 Mama’s Expo, a premiere event for parents and their children at the New York Hall of Science on May 5.
Open to all parents, expectant moms, and children ages 0-5, attendees will have unprecedented, insider access to some of the best local services, specialists and products currently available for families in Queens and throughout the boroughs of New York City.
From finding new local classes and schools, to the best innovative products and retail stores, parents will receive an exclusive look at all of the new resources available to make sure they are in-the-know!
The event is sponsored by Music Together in the City, Britax, Birth Day Presence, SweetPea 3, Click and Improve and SchoolBook.

Ticket Price: Tickets will go on sale on March 30, 2012 and can be purchased online at www.queensmamas.com/expo or www.nysci.org/visit/expo until May 4, 2012. The Mama’s Expo All Access Ticket includes all-day admission to New York Hall of Science, access to the Mama’s Expo and events, access to New York’s largest Science Playground, plus one round of Rocket Park Mini Golf.

$17 Adult (18+)
$13 Child (2-17), Student (w/ID), Senior (62+)/ Under 2 Free
$40 VIP Admission
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for full price of $19 for adults, $15 for children.
Tickets includes general admission for one, access to the Mama’s Expo, one ticket to Science Playground and one any-time voucher for Mini-Golf (valid for one round of Rocket Park Mini-Golf. Expires June 5, 2012)

Expo Membership Offer:
NYSCI Family Premium Membership can be purchased for $100 and includes free entry into the expo, as well as a year of free unlimited admission to NYSCI for two adults and up to six children, free parking, discounts in the Science Shop and on educational programs, plus reciprocal admission to over 300 science centers and 200 children’s museums.

About the New York Hall of Science
The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) presents 450 exhibits, demonstrations and design spaces that explain science, technology, engineering and math. A visit to NYSCI is a hands-on, energetic educational experience where you can indulge your curiosity and nurture your creativity.
NYSCI offers professional development for teachers, produces curricula and resources for classrooms, and studies how technology, gaming and play affect how we learn. NYSCI was founded at the 1964-65 World’s Fair and has evolved into New York’s center for interactive science serving a half million students, teachers, and families each year.
From April through June, NYSCI is open 9:30 am – 2 pm Monday – Thursday, 9:30 am – 5 pm on Friday, and 10 am – 6 pm on weekends. Admission is $11 for adults and $8 for children (ages 2-17), college students with valid ID, and seniors (62+).
