NYSCI members can visit many other museums and science centers for free. This benefit varies depending on your membership level. Please confirm the benefits of your category in the Summary of Benefits chart (pdf) before visiting another location. Each museum has its own admission policy. It's always a good idea to call before you visit.

ASTC Travel Passport Program

All NYSCI members enjoy free general admission at 300 science centers worldwide, through the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC). Download a complete listing of ASTC Travel Passport locations (doc).

The Travel Passport Program entitles visitors to free general admission. It does not include free admission to special exhibits, planetarium and larger screen theater presentations nor does it include museum store discounts and other benefits associated with museum membership unless stated otherwise.

Note: the list of Passport Program participants is updated every six months.

ACM Reciprocal Program

Most NYSCI Premium members may also visit 200 children's museums nationwide*. You are eligible for this benefit if your membership card displays an Association of Children's Museum (ACM) logo. In our local area, you may bring 1 adult and 1 child to ACM museums. Nationally, most ACM institutions admit 2 adults and 2 children. It’s always best to call before visiting participating museums.

Family Plus and Donor members: You are eligible for the ACM benefit now. Stop by the membership desk to pick up your ACM sticker on your next visit. Family, Senior, and Corporate Plus members: Consider upgrading now to take advantage of Premium benefits.

*Due to a restriction of the ACM, Individual Premium membership does not include admission to 200 children's museums.
