Learn the basics of 3-D modeling and use a 3-D printer to design and print a skateboard park element for a finger skateboard. Recommended for ages 10 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. $20 per project, plus NYSCI admission; $15 members.

HTINK helps schools and community-based organizations create after-school programs that promote knowledge in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). STEM2GETHER and HTINK have helped start Young Maker programs in New York City and Newark, N.J., which get students interested in electronics, computer programming, design and the use of traditional hand tools.
