Little Makers: Butter Basics

October 7, 2012; 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Invent your own flavor as you shake up a batch of homemade butter. Sometimes creativity can get messy, so dress your little maker (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink and oobleck. $8 per family, plus NYSCI admission ($5 per family for members).

Preregistration is recommended. For more information, call 718-699-0005 ext. 341 or e-mail mleppo@nysci.org.

Little Makers is a series of programs where families with young children can tinker, design and create together. This program is supported in part by funding from the Altman Foundation and the Liu Foundation.

The program takes place in NYSCI's new Maker Space, where you can learn about the tools and techniques of Making in its many forms. Maker Space is made possible thanks to an investment by Cognizant through its Making the Future education initiative.
