Join Allen Kurzweil, author of Potato Chip Science: 29 Incredible Experiments, as he performs a few of his snack-based science projects. Free with NYSCI admission.
In his book, Kurzweil uses potato chip projects to teach a wide range of sciences – from physics to forensics, and navigation to neuroscience. The projects use and reuse potato chips, potatoes, discarded chip bags, tubes and lids to create items such as chip-bag kites, fingerprint powder, and chipmobiles.
