Little Makers: Project Pinata

October 28, 2012; 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Celebrate the Day of the Dead by designing and making a family pinata. Sometimes creativity can get messy, so dress your little maker (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink and oobleck. Recommended for ages 2 and older. $8 per family, plus NYSCI admission ($5 per family for members).

Preregistration is recommended. Register online Preregistration.

If you have questions about Little Makers workshops, call 718-699-0005 ext. 341 or e-mail mleppo@nysci.org.

Little Makers is a series of programs where families with young children can tinker, design and create together. This program is supported in part by funding from the Altman Foundation and the Liu Foundation.

Little Makers: Project Pinata will take place in Maker Space. Maker Space is made possible thanks to an investment by Cognizant through its Making the Future education initiative.
