If you have any questions during your visit any Visitor Experience or Explainer staff can help you. We suggest that if you are able, to visit the museum on your own or with fellow educators to familiarize yourself with the space. Teachers receive free General admission on any day that we are open.
At this time, the $9 rate provided to schools located in New York City is our lowest rate, at 60% off our General Admission pricing and 25% off of our Group Discount. This pricing was provided to us via our contract with the DOE and unfortunately cannot be lowered further.
Staff will direct you to bins to store lunches when you arrive as food and drink are not permitted on the exhibit floor. These bins will be labeled with your group name and group leaders will be given slips to indicate your group bin number. These bins will be brought to the cafeteria by staff ahead of your lunch time, so please arrive at lunch 5-10 minutes early for students to retrieve their lunch bags so you may make full use of your lunch time.
Purchasing bus parking guarantees a spot in our private lot. This is completely optional. Buses may use street parking but spots are not guaranteed. This is entirely up to your discretion and your agreement with the bus driver.
At this time, the New York Hall of Science is not facilitating birthday parties or celebrations.
