Programs
Explore a world of opportunity through NYSCI programs and partnerships that spark curiosity, drive innovation, and engage our wider community.

Youth Development
Our Science Career Ladder program provides opportunities for high school and college youth to develop career-building skills, grow from professional mentorship, participate in STEM learning opportunities, and engage with our visitors.

Community Engagement
NYSCI collaborates with local schools, families, and community-based organizations in developing and implementing STEM experiences including programs, events and resources that provide our community with multiple pathways for engaging and exploring STEM.

Family Access Programming
NYSCI’s access family programs and resources aim to bring neurodiverse children and their families together to learn and discover the wonder of science in an environment that supports the unique needs. Through hands-on exposure to new materials, tools, and experiences these free events provide opportunities to enjoy family time and allow parents to interact with others facing similar challenges and build a sense of community.
NYSCI is committed to engaging and empowering learners of all abilities to explore their strengths and skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by fostering the excitement of self-directed exploration and by tapping into the joy of play in a safe, supportive and understanding environment.

Designers in Residence
The Designers-in-Residence (DiR) program has been created to infuse innovation and current design principles, thinking and insight into NYSCI’s Science Career Ladder.

We're building a series of 21+ programs where you can have fun while learning something new, socialize, and enjoy a craft brew or cocktail, while enjoying the museum on your own terms. Stay tuned for details!
